Yesterday, Lindsay Lohan took to her Twitter to clear up a few things for her fans and followers. She posted a personal message, (a FYI if you will) insisting that she was a good person, who was raised right and was taught never to “lie, cheat or steal,” despite the fact that she is set to stand trial for felony grand theft. She explained:
“Was on the phone with my sister&this movie Greenberg is on, i heard my voice which was odd- and ryhs ifans is watching Just My Luck in the movie- made me laugh.. i just want to be on set again, and left alone to just work! fyi- i would never steal, in case people are wondering. I was not raised to lie, cheat, or steal… also, what i wear to court shouldnt be front page news. it’s just absurd. god bless xox L”
Wow…you’re watching Greenberg? How was that? We’ve heard good things, but we haven’t seen it yet ourselves.
We kid, we kid. We’re trying to take you seriously, but we’re inclined to remind you that actions speak louder than words. Maybe you were raised not to do those things, but you can’t deny that you’ve done them in the past. We’re just stating facts. (What ever happened to that mink coat, BTW?)
Anyway, after that message went out, she sent another one to Perez personally, in response to a post we did yesterday. We had been curious why she tweeted out a picture of her and Kanye West moments after she left court yesterday. It seemed very odd to us and we were hoping she would give us an explanation.
Ask and you shall receive! Lindsay tweeted us:
“@perezhilton the photo of me and kanye was already on my phone and when i re-booted my phone it just sent when i signed onto my twitter acct… blame blackberry! i deleted it immediately, because that’s very FAR from what i was thinking all day. sorry for the confusion everyone…. this is not a joke to me”
Okay, consider us semi-convinced. We really want to believe her, though.
Despite it all, we would love to see Lindsay land on her feet and get back to making movies and music. She’s still so young, which means she still has a lot of time to turn her life around.
So, how’s about you get started on making real changes in your life, bb?! Begin with clearing up all this nasty, thieving business.
Then go make Superman! (Maybe…)
