Beatles Producer George Martin To Receive Honorary Degree From Oxford University!

Such an honor!
Iconic music producer George Martin, who is often referred to as the “fifth Beatle” thanks to his work producing all but one of the band’s albums, is set to receive an honorary degree from Oxford University!
He says:

“I am delighted to receive this accolade from Oxford University. I’ve been lucky enough to work with brilliant collaborators from many fields of music and the arts in my life, and am honoured to be joining the distinguished ranks of those receiving honorary degrees at Oxford.”

Well, we certainly think it’s well-deserved, given the amount of wonderful music he’s contributed to bringing into the world!
