iPad 2 Is A Hit!

Apple knows when it has a good thing. And its iPad is definitely one of those items.
Just after its weekend debut, Apple has managed to sell an estimated 1 million units of its iPad 2!
The 1 million mark is huge considering the original iPad sold 1 million units 28 days after it launched.
Apple also saw a rise in shares by .6% despite Nasdaq being down .7%. One analyst reveals:

“Our field checks over the weekend indicate that the iPad 2 sold out at every Apple and non-Apple store we contacted. In fact, all the stores had worked through iPad 2 inventory by Saturday afternoon, and there were no new iPad 2 deliveries on Sunday.”

Some Best Buy stores even ran out of the iPad 2 and its accessories within 10 minutes of going on sale.
The iPad is currently on sale, if in stock (hah!) for $499, the same price as the first generation models.
