How unfortunate.
Rosie Perez is suing her former employers, NBC and the producers of Law & Order: SVU for injuries she alleges she received while filming a scene for the show back in 2009.
Filing the lawsuit on Wednesday, Rosie says that she was “recklessly pulled, grabbed, yanked, wrenched and/or manhandled” while filming the episode titled “Hardwired.”
Her attorney claims that she is suffering severe pain and has numbness in her arms from the incident. He also says that because of the pain, she’s been out of work for about a year.
Wow. That sounds really uncomfortable and we feel for her pain. We hope she’ll be able to recover and can begin working again.
