Pirates Continues To Dominate Worldwide Box Office, Passes $400 Million Mark!!!

Guess the 3D factor didn’t hurt the movie too much.

Over the weekend, Johnny Depp and Disney once again delivered with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which achieved the biggest international opening of all time!

Looks like thar be more records to broken, because yesterday the movie officially passed the $400 million mark at the worldwide box office! AND in less than a week in release!!!

The Hangover II may slow it down a little bit this weekend, although families aren’t TOO likely to take their kids to see the hard R-rated sequel, so Pirates‘ momentum might not slow down much at all…in fact it COULD pick up steam! It’s Memorial Day weekend after all!
