Special X Factor Promo To Air On Fox Sports During Major League All-Star Baseball Game!

Talk about cross-promotion!

We have a feeling the ratings are going to be HUGE for this!

Fox Sports will reportedly be broadcasting a special, three-minute world premiere promo for The X Factor during next week’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game, and will also use the opportunity to Tweet from the reality competition’s handle that night!

According to Fox Sports President Eric Shank:

├óΓé¼┼ôWe wanted to create a national lead-in to the All-Star Game. [Fox Networks Group entertainment chairman] Peter Rice and [Fox marketing president] Joe Early took the idea to Simon who immediately jumped on it and came up with the concept for the completely original world premiere. It’s big and bold and is very much Simon being Simon and showing off the fruits of his labor. It├óΓé¼Γäós a great platform to launch The X Factor, but it├óΓé¼Γäós also good to get people who are interested in American Idol to come in and watch baseball.”

Sounds very inneresting, indeed!

We’re curious to find out what Simon has in store for us!

So exciting!

What do U think?? Will U be tuning in July 12th??
