Such a sad situation.
Teen Mom‘s Amber Portwood, who is still in rehab in Malibu btw, may permanently lose custody of her precious daughter, Leah.
Leah’s daddy, Gary Shirley‘s temporary custody will most likely be changed to permanent, according to his lawyer, Jeff Lockwood.
He adds that in order for Amber to regain custody, she would be need to be “able to maintain a clean track record.”
It’ll be tough though, considering she was investigated by Child Protection Services, jailed on domestic abuse charges, and has been hospitalized for two months now after attempting suicide.
Lockwood did say that he and his team “will aim for her to have a whole lot of visitation,” and if Amber does move in with Gary (which Lockwood hinted at), she would be able to serve as her full-time mom.
Our hearts go out to sweet little Leah! She didn’t ask for all this dramz and now she has to deal with being moved back and forth and having an unstable mother!
We hope rehab does Amber a world of good…at least for Leah’s sake.
