One step closer to justice!
To recap, Joran van der Sloot is in jail for a first-degree murder charge in the death of Stephany Ramirez Flores, and he is the prime suspect in the Natalee Holloway disappearance case.
Back in April, he was accused of stabbing three fellow inmates in his Peruvian jail, and he “burst out laughing” when he heard the accusations.
Then back in June, Joran appeared in Peruvian court for a hearing regarding the Stephany Flores murder case.
Now, he’s been FORMALLY charged with first-degree murder in the Flores case, and Peruvian prosecutors are seeking a 30-year jail sentence and damages of more than $70,000. The trial is expected to begin this October.
As we’ve said many times before, we absolutely still believe that Joran is a monster, and we truly hope that he is appropriately punished for his horrific crimes.
