As we’ve said many times before, we love her new track WEPA (above) and we’re THRILLED she’s got a new dance album coming out…but partnering with Target? Really???
It’s no secret that we’ve had less-than-positive feelings about Target over the years for their anti-gay ways, and now we have mixed feelings about the physical version of Gloria Estefan’s new dance CD Little Miss Havana being exclusively sold at Target stores starting Sept. 27.
Fortunately, for those of us who aren’t overly enthusiastic about supporting the store, the digital release will be available on iTunes.
For those of you who choose to purchase the physical CD, Target will be releasing a deluxe edition featuring four bonus tracks produced by Emilio Estefan including a remix of WEPA featuring Pitbull.
The physical CD release will ALSO include a free download of the 25th anniversary remix of Gloria’s classic hit Conga.
Those extras sounds VERY cool, and we’d love to support Gloria…but we’re not sure if we’re ready to support Target at this point in time.
