Those in attendance on opening night of LACMA‘s Film Independent series will be in for a wicked good treat!
Johnny Depp himself will be out and about to kick off the film series with the world premiere of his own movie – The Rum Diary!
Film Independent is a nonprofit arts organization that produces the Spirit Awards as well as the Los Angeles Film Festival, and the launch of this new stylized film series will replace LACMA’s traditional weekend film series.
Amber Heard and Aaron Eckhart will also be attendance with Johnny as their film debuts at the series.
This is surprising yet charming news for us Johnny rarely does public appearances aside from the typical red carpet film premieres.
Hmm, we’ve been meaning to swing by LACMA…
