You're Going To Want To Start Watching 2 Broke Girls

Especially if you have a void left in your soul where Sex & The City used to live.

Last night, after we caught Ashton Kutcher’s debut on Two and a Half Men, we stuck around to watch Michael Patrick King’s new sitcom about New York, 2 Broke Girls. This time, he’s ventured away from midtown and Manolos and takes his audiences to a whole new world in Manhattan – Williamsburg. As in, Brooklyn.

The show has Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs (American Pie Presents, anyone?) as yes, two broke girls, who become unlikely friends while working at a diner. Even though the show has both MPK and Whitney Cummings behind it, we still were a bit leery about the show going into it.

This opening scene converted us faster than you can say, “Abso-f*cking-lutely!

Please, do yourself a favor and check out this scene from the show (above)! It’s only a taste of how really good it was. There was also an amazing awkward kiss on the subway, a socialite mother who names her children after Brangelina and a horse. Yes, a horse is a horse, of course, of course, but it still might end up being funny.
