We were wondering if this was ever going to happen!
Last we heard about Robert Pattinson’s long-anticipated album, he was saying that he wanted to release it by the end of 2010…but he did not make his deadline.
Now, a source is saying that R-Patz is once again moving forward with the album:
“Rob has been kicking a few original songs around for a long time, but his schedule didn’t allow it. Now he’s got some weeks to get everything in line before going back to promoting Breaking Dawn.”
“[He’s been] studying on on other instruments — like piano and horns. It’s an obsession for him.”
More from another source:
“The album Rob will make will be guitar-based and drums, very organic-sounding, nothing pop. Like stripped-down Ray LaMontagne meets Van Morrison.”
“Music is his first love! He’s tortured because he avoids it. When he’s sitting around jamming in the studio, it’s his favorite moment of life.”
And here’s what R-Patz’s Twilight co-star Jackson Rathbone had to say about it:
“He loves to play the blues. He can hold his own on a guitar. We enjoyed jamming together when we had the time. Very humble and quiet guy.”
Wow, Robert! We didn’t realize HOW passionate you are about your music! Now we’re even more curious about this album!
