X Factor premiered last night and while there were MANY memorable performances that made us weep manly tear up, this performance stole our hearts and touched our souls.

Meet Chris Rene. He’s 28 years old. He has a young son. He just got out of rehab. His story is empowering. His attitude is inspiring. His voice is INCREDIBLE!

We’ll admit we were dubious at first, but let us tell you – this kid has MAD, natural talent. So versatile as a performer. Plus, he can write and produce! That takes skill!
