Don’t leave us, Dex!
Last we heard about Dexter star Michael C. Hall’s negotiations with Showtime, the actor was reportedly looking for quite a bit more $$$ to continue on with the show.
Now, following the series’ season six premiere, which was its highest-rated premiere EVER, we’ve learned that negotiations have “broken down” between Michael and the network.
Apparently, Showtime is offering Dex Michael $20 million for two more seasons, but the show’s star wants $24 mil.
Hopefully they’re able to figure something out…maybe $22 million as a compromise? Or maybe Michael will only sign on for one more season at $10 or $12 million? Whatever they do, we’d REALLY like at least one or two more seasons!
We are NOT ready to say goodbye to Dexter yet!
