Looks like the next Mission: Impossible flick isn’t following standard movie-release PROTOCOL! LOLz!
Paramount Pictures must have listened to us when we said that we can’t wait to see the new MI movie, because they’ve pushed up the release of the IMAX version from Dec. 21 to Dec. 16!!!!!
This marks the first time EVER that a U.S. release has come out early solely on IMAX screens. Awesome!
Here’s what vice chairman of Paramount Pictures Rob Moore had to say about it:
“Brad Bird├óΓé¼Γäós Mission: Impossible will be among the highlights of the holiday movie season and we├óΓé¼Γäóre very happy to share the film with audiences early in IMAX.”

We’re beyond pumped! We had mixed feelings about paying $36 to see Contagion on IMAX, although the movie itself was cool, but this one will DEFINITELY be worth it!
