
Legitimate concern or just a moocher jumping on the bandwagon? Too soon to tell, but we have our suspicions.
Yesterday, we reported a claim by a patron of Lisa Vanderpump’s high end Beverly Hills restaurant that her staff actually changed the tip amount on her receipt by $2 after she left. Now, another customer is claiming the same and ready is to take action against the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star by revealing the second misdeed of her staff.
The woman shared:
├óΓé¼┼ôI went to Villa Blanca in January with three friends and I was so annoyed after the terrible service and way the staff treated us that I did not leave a tip on my lunch bill. When I checked my account later though I noticed that someone had put a 20 per cent tip on my credit card receipt!”
After that, she contacted Villa twice, asking to speak with a manager who would refund the $3 extra taxed on to her bill. The manager assured her she would get her money back, but he never sent her anything. It was then that she contacted the credit card company, who did refund her money. She adds:
“I was so mad that they didn’t return the money and I couldn’t get a response from them. But, my credit card company helped me out immediately.”
She’s lucky it wasn’t more money and that her credit card company was so helpful. Can’t say Lisa Vanderpump should feel so lucky right now.
All this bad press can NOT be good for business, especially since it depicts a poor picture of the service one gets when going there!
