The Dr. Conrad Murray trial had been delayed for a while because one of the medical experts’ father sadly died.
Now, the case is being delayed again because of new MJ drug test results:
Murray’s defense attorneys have time to review the results of lab tests that the prosecution says will show that Michael Jackson did not take a fatal dose of the sedative lorazepam. Prosecutor David Walgren revealed at a hearing on Monday that the Los Angeles County coroner had run tests on the contents of Michael Jackson’s stomach to assess the levels of lorazepam present. Walgren said on Monday the lab results showed “a much smaller amount of lorazepam in the stomach that is totally inconsistent with oral consumption of lorazepam tablets.”
It’ll probably start back up on Wednesday, but could be longer. Not much longer though.
