Wowza! Who knew that those Upper East-siders had it in them?!
Time Warner will be making some serious dollah dollah bills off of the CW’s Gossip Girl, after signing two deals with Netflix and Hulu to license the series’ reruns via the net that will generate $100 million in revenue this quarter, half of which will be booked as an operating profit!
At least, that’s according to their chief financial officer, Josh Martin, who reported such to analysts on the company’s earnings call today!
Smart move, putting it up on the net!
We imagine with numbers like that, many shows will be following suit!
This is where the next generation of TV is going, folks!
