E! Defends Their Right To Bank On Kim's Misfortune

Because that exclamation mark stands for, “We do what we want!”
You might’ve noticed if you turned on E! this week that Kim Kardashian’s lavish wedding special is running ramped during the primetime line-up. At first, the network was going to pull any encore showings because of the media scrutiny, but at the last minute, they moved the special back.
Their reason? This is what their fans want and they’ll be damned if they don’t give it them! Suzanne Kolb, president of E! Entertainment, explains:

“We are a topical network and this is a topic at the moment.”

Weak argument, but really who cares. The first airing got 4 million viewers or so. If they got 500K people to watch this 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th airing, we’ll be shocked!
