This movie is going to shatter the box-office in the US like that headboard during sparkle sex, but it’s also doing some damage across the world that should be noted.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part One is off to a momentous start in a lot of foreign markets, especially in Europe. In France, the movie sky-rocketed to the #1 spot, grossing 3.83 million US dollars in its opening day. With that, it becomes the third highest opening in the country, behind the latest Harry Potter and Tintin, a hugely popular flick in France!
Down under, the vamps and wolves are doing quite nicely as well, raking in 1.27M USD during its midnight screenings. And in Italy, the flick debuted at #1 just with it’s midnight shows, taking in $2.3M USD!
But put that all together and you don’t even come close to a fourth of the money that is going to be made tonight and tomorrow. This movie is going to slay every other flick in its path. ZERO question! Gosh, there are people camped out at theaters already, just so they can be the first inside the midnight screening.
