Bummer! Roger Ebert's Show Going On Hiatus

We were really hoping they’d be able to work this out.
Last month, we were sad to learn that Roger Ebert’s newest show Ebert Presents At The Movies was most likely on it’s way out due to lack of funding.
As we mentioned before, Roger and his wife had been footing the bill for the show themselves, but they’ve realized that they can no longer afford to do so.
Now, we’ve learned that Roger’s show will go on hiatus at the end of the month, in an effort to “allow the public television stations that carry the show to plan their programs for the beginning of the new year.”
This is certainly not a good sign, but at least all isn’t lost…yet.
