SUED! American Airlines In Flight Meal Blamed For Man's Death

The flight carrier has been issued a lawsuit after a passenger flew from Barcelona to New York.
Othon Cortes‘s family is suing American Airlines for not properly preparing their in flight meal. The family claims the chicken Cortes was served had a deadly bacteria.
His wife, Raquel, says Cortes suffered nausea, shortness of breath and “clear outward manifestation of severe physical illness.”
It is also said Cortes suffered a “cardiac event” on a transfer to Miami.
The family is suing for $1 million. They also blame AA for not stopping her husband from boarding.
That part might be a little unfair.
The lawsuit comes after the airline filed for bankruptcy two days beforehand.
