Unfortunately, the gunman who killed a campus cop and another pedestrian at Virginia Tech this morning has still not been apprehended by authorities. Several police squads and officials are still searching the area, looking for the caucasian male who is thought to still be in the area.
In the meantime, every precaution is in place to keep the students of the school as safe as possible. The school is still in lockdown, with no one allowed in or out. Several students are being held in a secure room at Squires Student Center. In fact, security is so tight, students are even being escorted to the bathroom.
The latest intel from the school’s inside reporters say that the police are checking local neighborhoods in downtown Blacksburg, just in case the suspect manage to escape the school perimeters.
