As reported earlier, victims of the Sugarland stage collapse have come after the band, the state, and anyone else involved in the mishap.
Sixty-five claimants filed a suit; the state of Indiana has settled to pay the victims a total of five million dollars.
Seven people died while 58 others were injured.
$300K each will go to the estates of the deceased while the remaining victims will divvy up the rest.
63 of the 65 have accepted Indiana’s terms. It is one of many lawsuits following the stage collapse.
Sugarland held a free memorial concert in November for the victims.
