A woman who worked for R. Kelly from 2000-2006 testified in court on Tuesday that he is indeed the man in the tape central to the child pornography case unfolding in Chicago.
She also revealed that the young girl who allegedly appears in a sex video with R. Kelly visited the R&B star’s recording studio regularly, did her homework there and once brought an overnight bag.
The aide, who’s now a music industry exec., said she thinks “so highly of Mr. Kelly and his family,” but nonetheless made the damning IDs.
Under cross-examination by defense, the ex-assistant admitted she could not identify either of them the first time she saw the tape, “I was in shock. I wanted to be 100 percent sure.”
A woman who was involved in a 3some with R. Kelly and the young girl in the video is expected to testify today, Wednesday.
