Well shiz.
It├óΓé¼Γäós hard out here for a p…Pauly D!
Sounds like DJ Pauly D has joined the long list of stars who are being sued for money they owe!
International Creative Management (ICM) has recently filed a lawsuit against Pauly D, claiming he owes them $370,000 in commission from seasons four and five of Jersey Shore as well as 10 percent of his salary from season six!!!
…that should only be a couple boxes of hair gel he’d have to sacrifice, right?
Pauly D is looking at a whopping $150,000 per EPISODE paycheck for the sixth season…and with 12 episodes, that would total out to be about $2.1 million!
While Pauly signed with talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) in 2011, ICM had been repping him since the very first season of the show.
According to ICM, ├óΓé¼┼ôno deed goes unpunished├óΓé¼┬¥ and although they don├óΓé¼Γäót still rep Pauly, they state that they├óΓé¼Γäóre entitled to the cash because it├óΓé¼Γäós ├óΓé¼┼ôstandard custom and practice├óΓé¼┬¥ in the entertainment industry…even after termination.
A statement from Pauly D’s legal counsel Hillary H. Hughes and Attorney Garvey Schubert Barer reads:
“We are surprised by ICM’s contention that it is due commissions after ICM was terminated in favor of William Morris Endeavor. ICM was paid for its services. It is even more disappointing that an agency like ICM would choose to take advantage of its former relationship with a client and disclose his confidential business affairs to the public in disregard of any duties it owes as a talent agency.”
Well, sounds like Pauly’s in good hands…though now the “L” in “GTL” may stand for lawyer!
Yeah, buddy.
