Girls Has Weak Debut, Game Of Thrones Slays

Aw! We hope more people tune in next week for this subtly HIGHlarious new show!
Despite critical praise, HBO’s Girls made a quiet debut after the finale of Eastbound & Down (which attracted 1.6 million peeps) on Sunday night with only 1.1 million viewers. Audiences may have tuned out for the new half-hour comedy, but they came back with reinforcements to watch Game Of Thrones.
The fantasy series garnered 3.8 million viewers for its first airing for a total of 4.5 million across two runs.
At least people know what’s up when it comes to epic medieval warfare between feuding kingdoms!
Srsly though, watch Girls next week! The cast is great, the writing is terrific, and we pretty much fell in love with the 24-year-old star (and creator) of the show, Lena Dunham.
