Mariska Hargitay AKA Detective Olivia Benson has penned a deal with Universal Television that locks in the fiery actress for a potential 14th season of NBC├óΓé¼Γäós Law and Order: Special Victim├óΓé¼Γäós Unit. But this doesn├óΓé¼Γäót guarantee the show’s return!
While the show’s ratings have consistantly slipped, Mariska stands firm behind the new cast additions, and her character’s story changes:
“This new cast came on, and I had no idea what to expect — and we had a new showrunner. The show this year is awesome and different and has gone into different areas, and I get to play different things; my own story of having a boyfriend after 13 years. ├óΓé¼┬ª My character has gone on this unbelievable personal journey that is both reflected in her persona life and the storylines.”
