We’re ridiculously, irrevocably, completely excited for Sam Raimi‘s Oz: The Great and Powerful!
So it’s pretty understandable that we almost lost our shizz when we heard the infinitely adorbs Michelle Williams would be playing Glinda the Good Witch!
While at the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend, Michelle shared in an interview what it’s been like on set, saying:
“That was amazing because of the man who led us all. [Director] Sam Raimi is a real throwback and an absolute gentleman and made every day feel like I was on a small, collaborative indie film… It’s such an honor to have little girls think of me as Glinda the Good Witch.”
We’re super happy to hear that! Sometimes when given a huge movie a director will get carried away with the scope of things, and totally forget about the personal story.
So we’re pleased that he kept it feeling like it was a small film!
And of course we can’t wait to see it! Michelle coming and going by bubble? Yes please!
