Are the boys of One Direction getting a bit too big for their britches???
Sounds like Niall, Louis, Harry, Zayn and Liam aren├óΓé¼Γäót too happy with the salary they├óΓé¼Γäóve been getting from boss Simon Cowell…even AFTER an over $2 million bonus!
Group member Niall said:
“Simon Cowell is tight. That’s why he’s so successful – he’s able to keep his money to himself. We’re paid in jelly beans.”
So…are those the yummy popcorn-flavored jelly beans or more of the vomit-flavored Harry Potter kind? Ha!
While Niall might have been joking then, there does seem to be some truth to their pay woes! Reportedly, the guys want to start to have a hand in the songwriting process, which would boost their bucks!
Taking some notes from The Beatles, we see?
1D’s Liam Payne says:
“We did watch The Beatles’ movie A Hard Day’s Night recently and it was funny to see things they did that are similar to us.”
One Direction definitely brings the girls to hysterics, like the Fab Four — but don├óΓé¼Γäót tell that to Sir Paul! LOLz.
We├óΓé¼Γäóre glad they are brushing up on their music history but just hope they remember it’s not all about the money!!
Hey, every great band has got to start somewhere!
Only time will tell if One Direction lives up to the legends, but they are off to a fantastic start!
