The race to the bank this weekend between The Avengers and Dark Shadows might be neck-and-neck — and for vampires that usually bodes well.
Avengers could break the unbelievable $1 billion dollar mark as soon as Sunday but Dark Shadows is expected to do very well and, in some cases, is already outearning Joss Whedon’s solid-gold superhero pic.

Shadows execs know Tim Burton flicks typically track well with women — and we get it, they always look FABULOUS!
They’re also optimistic that males may split their attention this weekend between seeing Avengers again and rolling the dice on Battleship.
