Apparently, it’s retro week!!
Last night’s ratings winners were two of most popular shows of the year 2005!!
Sunday’s #1 show was the series finale of Desperate Housewives. 11.10 million people (3.2/8 of the 18-49 year-old demo) tuned in to say goodbye to the ladies of Wisteria Lane. Impressive for the night, that doesn’t come close to the show’s first season average of 23.69M viewers and a 10.66 rating among adults 18-49!
A VERY close #2 all-around best rating was another ABC season finale: Once Upon a Time. The fairytale show also pulled a 3.2 in the demo, and won 9.45M viewers. (Did ya’ll like our trip back to the Island? Personally, we loved catching a glimpse of the Smoke Monsters gay cousin, Smokey Purple! LOL!)
CBS managed to snag the #3 spot from ABC! 10.22M people watched to see who won Survivor: One World, which scored a 2.8 in the demo.
Celebrity Apprentice couldn’t compete up with the Survivor finale. Trump’s show tied with season’s lowest rating last night.
Also down was every single cartoon in FOX animation block. Good thing they’ve already been renewed till forever!
