Last night’s ratings winner is too close to call. The three top rated shows from last night are all winners — and all very predictable!
ABC’s Dancing With the Stars was #1 in viewers with 15.6 million total viewers. That is a shiz ton of people, HOWEVES they get points taken off for their low score with the age demo (18-49-year-olds).
So, Monday night was a tie between DWTS and…. Two and a Half Men‘s season finale! The CBS canned comedy won 11.33M viewers and the night’s highest demo score of 3.8 with a porn-centric episode. Vomit.
As for #3 the other #1: 10.3M tuned in to watch Howard Stern├óΓé¼╦£s debut as an America├óΓé¼Γäós Got Talent judge. The episodes scored a 3.6 demo rating — down significantly form last year’s season opener. Still, those are GREAT ratings for NBC!
Honorable mention:
The Bachelorette: the ABC comedy scored 8.25M/2.5, down 10% from last year’s first episode.
How I Met Your Mother and Mike and Molly‘s season finales: 8.5M/3.4 and 11.63/3.3 respectively.
Smash: seven-week high of 6.1 million total viewers and stagnant demo scores. CANNOT wait for next season!!
Less honorable mention:
Gossip Girl: The season finale scored 1.17M/0.6. Hope they do better in there next, and final season. We’re gonna miss Blair over the summer….
As usual, CBS won Monday nights. They must think they’re soooo cool!
