Earning $60 mil in Mexico alone, The Avengers just knocked off Toy Story 3 as the most profitbale film to ever screen in Latin America’s top moviegoing market.
Throughout the region, Joss Whedon’s superhero flick pulled in over $200 mil, which makes it their most successful film ever.
While $1.3 billion worldwide is enough to make Avengers the third most successful film in the history of the known universe, it’s still almost a BILLION dollars behind James Cameron’s second place film Titanic.
