It├óΓé¼Γäós been one week since Ann Curry├óΓé¼Γäós exit and replacement from the Today show and now she├óΓé¼Γäós finally broken her silence…at least, on Twitter!
As always, Ann remained as positive and uplifting as ever — without a hint of bitterness — when she took to her Twitter yesterday for the Fourth of July and tweeted:
“236 years old and just getting started. Happy 4th America. You are beautiful.”
One of Mz. Curry’s 1.2 million followers sent out a tweet of support, calling her an inspiration, as they pursue a career in journalism.
Ann replied back, tweeting:
“Then study hard. This world needs great journalists.”
Yes, yes it does! Especially YOU, Ann!
We miss her already on Today, but know she’ll go on to do even bigger and better things in her career!
Way to rise above!
