Well, Twi-hards, we KNEW that whether Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson liked it or not, they’d be forced to promote the concluding chapter to their Twilight character’s romance, Breaking Dawn – Part 2 when it drops this November.
While the rest of the cast has essentially been forced to zip itin regards to the couple’s post-affair break-up, in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly (above), the film’s director Bill Condon is NOT being so quiet!
In fact, he has a message for every super-fan out there pulling their hair out and screaming over KStew’s infedility with married Snow White director Rupert Sanders!
He says:
“The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it’s not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that. Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the Twilight movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon. Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it’s time that some of that respect be returned to them.”
And there ya have it, folks!
A cordial reminder that although you may have allowed the lines of reality and fiction to blur with their real-life coupling, no – Robert and Kristen were never going to settle down and raise their vampire child together!
Too bad, so sad!
But let’s do what the man asks and just sparkle out to the excitement of the new movie!
It’s the last one, after all! No point in letting all of the real-life drama put a damper on what should be an exciting time!
