When star couple Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy invited Lourdes Orozco into their home, they never expected her to get hurt.
Or did they? Dun dun DUN!
No, probably not, but that seems to be what Orozco is alleging in her new lawsuit.
The former, and we’re guessing not future, houseguest claims that way back in April of 2011, she took a nasty spill down the actors’ stairs.
According to the lawsuit, the stairs were “poorly managed” and had handrails that weren’t “regulated.”
And if you don’t know what that means, you’re not alone. How do you manage stairs? They’re not a machine. Maybe she’s confusing them with escalators?
Orozco’s suit also reportedly accuses the Huffmacys of intentionally keeping the secret of the stairs hush-hush because they wanted her to fall.
Felicity may be a Desperate Housewife and Bill might get Shameless, but why would they purposely hurt someone?
Frankly, nothing about any of this lawsuit makes sense to us- except of course for the cents, of which Orozco is hoping to receive over 2.5 million!
OK, that’s only $25,000, but it’s still a lot of money!
We hope this case gets resolved quickly and without a messy trial. Because those courthouse steps are a doozy!
