Will Matt Lauer Take A Pay Cut Off His $25 Million Dollar Salary To Save Jobs?

First, Jay Leno. Now, Matt Lauer?
The Today show staffers are bracing for some serious pay cuts by NBC that may cause a lot of people to lose their jobs. A bunch of the staffers are wondering if Matt Lauer will agree to lessen his salary, which is a whopping $25 million, to help save some staff jobs like Leno did.
Here’s what a source said;

“Comcast has been looking at every one of its shows. The TODAY staff has been warned that cuts could be coming, and the question there is, if they start dumping people, will Matt Lauer take a cut the way Jay Leno did?”

The show’s ratings are now below the numbers of ABC‘s Good Morning America.
Ratings have dropped steadily since Savannah Gutherie took over for Ann Curry.
Think Matt will voluntarily give up some of the dough?
Or is NBC going to have to pry it from his cold dead fingers?
