Raise your hand if you’ll miss Maksim Chmerkovskiy‘s handsome mug on Dancing With The Stars every week!!
Us too!
But hey, at some point, you just have to move on. Maks has plans, you see, and they’re all about Hollywood and the silver screen!!
Of his departure from the show, Maks shared:
“What else do I have to do there after 15 seasons? It makes total sense. The audience can’t expect for me to want to stick around, and the producers can’t expect for me to want to stick around.
“I loved doing it. But to be honest with you, at 32, I am at what-about-me time. I caught the bug, as they say. This is something I really want to do.”
He’s not leaving ASAP though, so you can still DVR his fine azz with season 12 partner Kirstie Alley… they will be competing in the DWTS all-star season beginning on Monday!
Best of luck, Maks!
Hopefully we see you in something AMAZEBALLS — maybe a Spike Lee Joint?? Ha!
