What do Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe have in common?
We mean besides ridiculous good looks, superlative acting talent, and a passion for Russian literature?
Everything! In their new miniseries, the two hunky actors will be playing the same role!
Set in Russia in 1917, A Young Doctor’s Notebook is a dark comedy adapted from the novel by Mikhail Bulgakov. Daniel plays a new doctor, and Jon plays his older self who talks to him from the future.
It’s enough to know that these two smart and sexy thespians are stoked! Daniel says:
“I am an obsessive Bulgakov fan, since I read the book when I was 18. It is so compelling and exciting. This is his first book, and he can’t help his own crazed imagination coming through. At the first meeting Jon and I had, I said, yes, let’s do it.”
The Mad Men star in question is equally excited. He says:
“I am thrilled to get the chance to work on such rich material├óΓé¼┬ª bringing something original, dark, funny and moving to light. Madness and the macabre.”
Hey, if these hot doctors are happy, we’re happy! We can’t wait!
