Tony Scott's Death Officially Ruled A Suicide

The last time we visited the sad tale of the passing of Tony Scott, the director’s cause of death seemed uncertain.
Despite the eyewitness evidence that the Top Gun director had jumped from a bridge, the death certificate simply said “deferred“.
But now after a full investigation, the coroner has officially ruled the death a suicide.
The report did not mention any trace of cancer as was initially rumored to be Scott’s motivation.
The only drugs in his system were a sleep aid and anti-depressant. While it’s true antidepressants can sometimes cause suicidal thoughts, the sad truth is we’ll probably never now why the Hollywood legend chose to leave us.
But at least the case is closed.
