Oh, dear!! George Wendt was hospitalized this weekend after suffering from severe chest pains!
The big, burly, iconic Midwesterner continues to receive medical attention, and is thankfully expected to recover fully.
Until his chest pains, the 64 year-old actor worked the stage in a Chicago-area production of The Odd Couple. Sources close to the show say he will now withdraw from the cast.
George is perhaps best remembered as Norm Peterson from TV most beloved sitcom, Cheers!!

Maybe those celebrating Halloween by drinking some suds tonight should down one in his honor!!
