Such a tragedy!
Jacintha Saldanha, one of Kate Middleton‘s nurses who fell victim to a radio prank was found dead in her home Friday morning, the cause of which is believed to be suicide.
King Edward VII’s hospital where Jacintha worked for years released a statement, and now St. James Palace has released their own thoughts on the horrible event.
The statement reads:
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Jacintha Saldanha. Their Royal Highnesses were looked after so wonderfully well at all times by everybody at King Edward VII Hospital, and their thoughts and prayers are with Jacintha Saldanha’s family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time.”
Jacintha — a trained nurse — was actually helping on reception when the prank call was made and transferred the DJs to Kate’s private nurse.
