Bethenny Frankel & Jason Hoppy's Split Could Get Messy! What About The Prenup?

Bethenny Frankel Jason Hoppy Custody Prenup
Just a few days ago, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy announced their separation and while many claimed to have seen it coming, that doesn’t make matters any less difficult!
Probably one of the worst parts of the couple’s split is the fact that their two-year-old daughter, Bryn, is stuck in the middle of it all!
While Bethenny previously mentioned in a statement that she and Jason will co-parent Bryn, we’re hearing that Jason will most likely seek “substantial” child custody support, seeing as “Bethenny is the breadwinner.”
Though the papers have yet to be filed, it seems things could get messy in terms of their prenup, as attorney Mychal Wilson explained:

“When a court rules upon divorce, they assess assets acquired before marriage and during marriage. [But] the assets for Skinnygirl get more complicated…. If [Jason] contributed to help her grow her business and brand, he may say, ‘I am entitled to some of this.’”

As we’ve seen, Bethenny has made quite a name for herself apart from reality TV — from selling her Skinnygirl cocktail company for $120 million, to her numerous books and upcoming talk show.
However, it sounds like Jason may try to fight their prenup, if it’s to be proven that Bethenny failed to fully disclose all of her assets.
Wilson added:

├óΓé¼┼ô[If] she knew she was going to get the talk show, [or] if she had any idea, it would [be] grounds [for him] to contest [the prenup.] He may be able to contest the prenup [with] allegations of infidelity, [which] would be advantageous to him and may make a portion of the prenup invalid.”

Frankel recently stated that there was no cheating involved in their breakup, so hopefully this wouldn’t be a factor!
We hope the two can settle things as amicably as possible, for Bryn, especially!
