Coach & JCPenney NOT Hooking Up

If you heard Coach and JCPenney were hashing out a deal to join forces in the future, you heard wrong because it’s not happening!
The rumor mill started churning after the leather goods CEO and department store CEO were deep in conversation at the Global Department Store dinner at New York City’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Turns out all they were doing was talking.
A rep for Coach has dismissed the collaboration:

“There are no plans to create a Coach accessories line for any retailer. The opportunities for Coach within our current concept and channels of distribution are abundant.”

And there you have it.
