A few months ago Rina Bovrisse, a former manager at Prada Japan, filed a lawsuit against the fashion house for unfair dismissal after she claimed she was fired for being over weight and unattractive.
Unfortunately for her, Prada is countersuing the ex-employee for defamation.
The company believes Rina has damaged their image after making her claims and want her to fork over 33 million yen or $390,000!
Ouch!
Bovrisse hasn’t made a statement about the countersuit, but we’re sure she will.
