Roberto Cavalli might be a great fashion designer, but we’re guessing most people don’t know how eccentric he really is.
And in an interview with W magazine, we find out a bit more about the designer’s private life.
Turns out the Cavalli estate takes up 36 acres in Florence, Italy, and includes a main house, a bachelor’s studio with a tanning bed, and DJ booth, indoor and outdoor pools, a wine cellar, and even a helicopter.
And known for his love of animal prints, the house is also full of animals, both real and fake, including four parrots, a miniature monkey, and a Persian cat.
Jokes Says Cavalli:
“Do you know the name of my cat? Pussy! It doesn’t mean what you think—I am much more clean—but I tell you, she is very sexy!”
But perhaps a bit more odd is that fact that Cavalli, already a father, would love to have kids. Literally. Says Roberto about his love of children:
“I tried immediately to have a baby because I was so afraid not to have a baby in my life. My first child was born nine months, 10 days after the wedding. For me, I would expect to have 10! I never understand why God give the possibility to have children just to woman,” he continued, clutching theatrically at his belly. “Oh, my God, my dream would be to have a baby!”
What do U think about Roberto Cavalli’s statements?
