Kenneth Cole is quickly filling Robert Duffy‘s inappropriate shoes on Twitter.
On Thursday, the designer used the protests in Cairo to shamelessly promote his spring collection by tweeting:
“Millions are in uproar in #Cairo. Rumor is they heard our new spring collection is now available online at http://bit.ly/KCairo -KC”
Obviously that didn’t sit well with a lot of people, so 2 hours later he was forced to do damage control:
“Re Egypt tweet: we weren’t intending to make light of a serious situation. We understand the sensitivity of this historic moment -KC”
Could have fooled us!
