Well wait a second, it turns out D&G is the “naming sponsor” for the Milano Thunder, an international boxing team that will represent the city of Milan, and Italian boxing as a whole at the World Series of Boxing!
This is creating a new image and name for Dolce & Gabbana.
Both Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana gave a statement in which they explained, why they decided to get involved:
“boxing is a sport which requires discipline, willpower and courage: values we firmly believe in and that we try to pour into everything we do. With this project we want to emphasize once more the importance sports have for us, both as a source of inspiration for our creativity and as very effective vehicle for healthy, real, down-to-earth values.├óΓé¼┼ô
We never thought we would see fashion and boxing in the ring together! These boxers sure are looking stylish.
