Home Abortions Being Fought Over In Court
The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is currently fighting a law that requires women to take early-stage abortion pills at registered clinics — a law that contrasts with the common practice of countries such as France, Sweden, and the US, who allow women to take the pills at home.
A scientific study conducted five years ago found that 98% of women who took the pills at home were satisfied with the experience.
The current law requires women to visit the clinic twice and receive two different medications that induce the abortion.
What do U think? Should UK women be able to perform early-stage abortions at home?
